Freshspring Open Day

🛶 School Boat Races – Our Community Learning Officer, Sam, has teamed up with My Future My Choice and local schools to build model boats, which will race on the pool in Victoria Park @ 1 pm.

🛳️ Waverley Comes to Bideford approximately 3.15 pm – The world’s last seagoing paddle steamer will sail into Bideford! Onboard, Mike Teare—Chair of Bideford & River Torridge Heritage Harbour and SS Freshspring Trustee—will be giving live commentary on the area’s rich maritime past, including the story of Freshspring, as Waverley cruises up the estuary.

⚓ SS Freshspring Open Day 12-4 pm– Come aboard this historic steamship and discover her unique story.
