Freshspring under tow, 1974

We are fortunate enough to have recently been sent a couple of pictures of Freshspring under tow from John Beardsley, but these are from 1974. They show Freshspring passing Portishead, heading down the Bristol Channel on their way to Portsmouth. We believe that the tug is the either “Roysterer” or “Rollicker”
Joining together the information we have, it is thought that between 07/05/1974 and 20/05/1974 she was at Charles Hill's yard in Bristol to have work carried out and was in Portsmouth by 11/07/1974 to continue the refit. Can you confirm, deny or add to this information? we'd love to hear from you if you can.
