Concert in aid of SS Freshspring on Saturday 3rd March 2018

We are delighted to announce that there will be a concert in aid of SS Freshspring on Saturday 3rd March at the Appledore Community Hall, New Quay Street, Appledore, EX39 1LU


The evening will be compèred by Judi Spiers and guests include:

Les Barker: Comic poet, genius & national treasure who writes strange poems and comes from Manchester, but he's now Welsh. He was an accountant before he became a professional idiot. He's written 85 books, which sell in large numbers at his gigs because people don't quite believe what they've just heard.

Tamsin Ball: the ultimate ‘Classical Crossover’ artist, blending Classical Music with other genres such as Folk, Jazz, Musical Theatre and Contemporary, she has the versatility and experience to perform at any event and her beautifully smooth voice that resonates both power and tranquility at the same time, invokes an unparalleled depth of emotion guaranteed to touch your soul.

Steve & Tricia Ruffe: are Prismic Weave, presenting Acoustic Folk at its best


The evening will include:

Judi talking to the Chairman of the Steamship Freshspring Society

A raffle which includes an auction for the top prizes
